AIM Resources, Inc. (“AIM Resources,” “we,” “us”) provides destination relocation services. This policy explains what personal information we collect through aimresources.com (the “Site”) and through emails and calls with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. Relocation services provided under an agreement with an employer or relocation management company are also governed by that agreement.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you email us, call us or use a contact form on the Site, we collect what you choose to share. That may include:

• your name, email address, phone number and employer
• details of a relocation, such as the destination, timing, housing preferences and budget
• information about household members, such as the ages of children for school research

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site’s servers record basic technical information when you visit. This includes your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the date and time of your visit. We use it to operate, secure and improve the Site.

Information from others. If your employer or a relocation management company arranges services for you, they may share your contact details and relocation information with us so we can provide those services.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• respond to inquiries and requests for services
• plan and deliver relocation services, including matching you with a local area consultant
• communicate with you and with the employer or relocation partner managing your move
• operate, maintain and protect the Site
• meet legal, accounting and record-keeping obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to provide our services or as required by law:

• Local area consultants who deliver services on our behalf in your destination
• Your employer or relocation management company, when they arranged the services
• Service providers who support our business, such as website hosting and email, under obligations to protect the information
• Landlords, schools and similar organizations, only with your direction and as needed for a specific request
• Legal and safety purposes, when required by law or to protect rights, property or safety

Cookies and tracking

The Site does not use advertising cookies, and it does not track visitors across other websites. Website software may set essential cookies needed for the Site to function. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the public pages of the Site will still work.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. Because the Site does not track visitors across other websites, there is no cross-site tracking for the signal to turn off; we do not otherwise change how the Site behaves in response to it.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide services and meet our legal, accounting and contractual obligations, then delete or de-identify it.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please avoid sending highly sensitive information, such as Social Security or bank account numbers, by ordinary email.

Your choices and rights

If services were arranged by your employer or a relocation management company, some requests may need to go through them, and we will tell you if that is the case.

Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Information about children that a parent or guardian provides to us, for example for school research, is used only to provide the services requested.

Links to other websites

The Site links to websites we do not control, such as WBENC. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
