What we do

Relocation services tailored to the move.

AIM helps domestic and international transferees get oriented, find a rental home in person or remotely, explore schools, settle in and prepare for departure.

Customized assistance

No two moves are alike. We plan each service around the employee’s destination, schedule, family needs and priorities, with guidance from a trained local area consultant. Whether the transferee is an executive or an intern, the plan reflects what that individual needs.

Area tours

Explore communities that fit the transferee’s lifestyle, housing goals and commute. A local consultant can highlight neighborhoods, transportation, recreation, shopping and other everyday considerations so the employee and family can make informed choices.

Tours can be arranged for candidates during an interview visit or for employees preparing to move.

Rental tours

We locate rental properties that match the transferee’s budget and criteria, coordinate viewings and accompany them on a focused tour. Consultants explain local rental practices and can assist with lease review and the move-in inspection.

Virtual rental tours

When a transferee cannot travel for a home-finding trip, a local consultant schedules rental properties that meet their criteria and visits on their behalf. At each property, the consultant can connect by FaceTime or another live video call, or record a video with notes on the home and its surroundings.

A follow-up call answers questions, compares the options and offers additional local insight.

School research & tours

For families with children, AIM researches public and private school options in the destination area, helps arrange school visits and accompanies the family where appropriate. We focus on the student’s needs and the family’s priorities, and assist with enrollment if needed.

Admissions and enrollment decisions remain with the schools and families.

International settling in

For international transferees, AIM provides practical support with the first steps of settling in the United States. A local consultant will coordinate appointments and accompany the employee to apply for a Social Security number, open a bank account, and apply for a driver’s license. An area tour, home-finding assistance, and local referrals are also provided, with each service tailored to the transferee’s needs.

Departure services

For domestic and international transferees preparing to leave, AIM will coordinate practical details such as lease notice, move-out arrangements, utility cancellations and the return of a security deposit. Assistance is tailored to the household and the requirements of the departure location.
